Bible Study and Crafting Group
On the first and third Mondays of each month from 6:30 to 8 pm, you are invited to to join a lively group for Bible Study. At present, we are studying the Hebrew Scriptures (Old Testament) with a lecture series by Dr. Amy-Jill Levine. 30 minutes of video with discussion to follow. Many of us bring knitting or other handwork but idle hands are just as welcome.

A self-described "Yankee Jewish feminist who teaches in a predominantly Christian divinity school in the buckle of the Bible Belt," Professor Levine combines historical-critical rigor, literary-critical sensitivity, and a frequent dash of humor with a commitment to eliminating anti-Jewish, sexist, and homophobic theologies.
