We strive to put our faith in action by working together to positively impact people outside our walls. We desire to bring hope to people in our midst and abroad through what we do.
A Group of St. MM folks prepare and serve a meal about 4 times a year for the homeless participating in our local chapter of Interfaith Hospitality Network. In addition to having a meal with them, we enjoy playing games with the kids and talking with the adults. We walk away changed by the experience. Our knitters and crocheters are busy making shawls or lap robes to give away as needed to the sick or lonely.
Non-perishable food items are collected each week and are donated to local food banks.
A collection box is available for people to recycle their medicine bottles. We donate them to Matthew 25 Ministries.
We collect non-perishable healthy food items to create On-The-Go meals for the Ronald McDonald House Takeaway Bag program. These bags provide families with the ability to have healthy food that will give them the energy they need to care for their children during a long day at the hospital.
