What We Do

Christian Formation

Discovering more about God, faith and ourselves is a life-long process. St. Mary Magdalene strives to help members and non-members of all ages to grow closer to God and each other through a variety of groups and courses. Our goal is to help people incorporate faith in daily life, be shaped by the ways and values of Jesus and the church throughout the ages, and embrace how God nourishes the mind, body, soul and spirit. Christian Formation also equips us to share the Christian story and God’s love for all. We welcome a diversity of thought and believe that reason is part of the Christian experience.

Sunday School combines the Episcopal and Methodist children and teachers and takes place between 11-noon on Sunday morning. For the under 4s, there is Nursery Care from 9:30-noon, though we also welcome the little ones into our Worship. There is a Children's sermon at the beginning of the service.

For Adults there is a Bible Study on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month during the school year.  We meet from 6:30-8pm for study and discussion.

Choir

We are currently seeking a Music Coordinator to assist in selecting songs for our weekly services, to lead the congregation in singing on a weekly basis and to occasionally lead a small adult or children's song. Interested persons should contact Michael Voshefski

Youth Activities

The youth of our church put on an annual Easter Egg Hunt followed by a luncheon for local children.
